Description of problem:
Opening files from nautilus with the associated application does not work properly.

For example:

Whenever I double click a ZIP file in Nautilus, it uses the 'Archive Mounter' tool. But it is not the configured application. In my /home/dummy/.config/mimeapps.list there is:

application/zip=org.gnome.FileRoller.desktop;

When using "xdg-open ~/zipfile1.zip" it uses file-roller and that's what I expect, too, when opening the file from nautilus.

Similar problem occurs with normal text files.

Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Nautilus.
2. Double click on the file you want to open.

Ok, for the ZIP files: I unchecked the checkbox "Extract the files on open" and now Nautilus uses file-roller =)

But for TXT files the problem remains: gedit is used despite two other editors are configured in /home/dummy/.config/mimeapps.list :

text/plain=leafpad.desktop;geany.desktop;

This message is a reminder that Mageia 6 is end of life.

Mageia stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Mageia 6. At that time this bug will be closed as OLD (EOL).

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to 
fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later 
Mageia version prior to Mageia 6's end of life.
