Mozilla has released Firefox 52.5.3 on December 28:

It fixes a bug that most users will appreciate having fixed.

The firefox package has been updated to version 52.5.3, which fixes a crash
reporting issue that inadvertently sends background tab crash reports to

Installed with the firefox-en* packages on Mageia 6, x86_64.
Reloaded OK and seems to be running fine.  It should be interesting to see if those fan-spinning episodes have disappeared.  Time will tell.

Good for 64 bits.
