marja11 Updated package uploaded for cauldron and Mageia 6. Advisory: ======================== The lensfun lens and camera database, used by rawtherapee and darktable, has not been updated since 2015. Updated the database files from upstream sources. Updated packages in core/updates_testing: ======================== lensfun-0.3.2-2.1.mga6 lib[64]lensfun1-0.3.2-2.1.mga6 lib[64]lensfun-devel-0.3.2-2.1.mga6 from lensfun-0.3.2-2.1.mga6.src.rpm (I have tested that this installs and rawtherapee runs with the new package but I don't really know enough about graphics editors to know if it is operating as it should. Feedback would thus be helpful.) CC:

mrambo It doesn't look to me like this update is working. Taking back from QA. Assignee:

mrambo On sourceforge, there is an explanation on how to update datas; it seems we have not those tools in mageia package so update can't be done: http://lensfun.sourceforge.net/manual/lensfun-update-data.html (If I well understood, my english is so far away) The update I did above does not work nor do the tools. The tools are there now but a python module necessary for their operation, particularly the database update script, is missing. Working on it... Updated package uploaded for cauldron and Mageia 6. Updated Advisory: ======================== The lensfun lens and camera database, used by rawtherapee and darktable, has not been updated since 2015. Updated the database files from upstream sources using the correct version 1 files. Fixed the building of the python module necessary for database updates to work in the future. Updated packages in core/updates_testing: ======================== lensfun-0.3.2-2.2.mga6 lib[64]lensfun1-0.3.2-2.2.mga6 lib[64]lensfun-devel-0.3.2-2.2.mga6 from lensfun-0.3.2-2.2.mga6.src.rpm Confirmed that the package loads without error. The newer lens db is there on my test machine and it appears to work correctly in rawtherapee. Confirmed the lensfun-update-data utility works on my test machine. Assignee:

qa-bugs I installed lensfun-0.3.2-2.2. mga6 and lib[64]lensfun1-0.3.2-2.2. mga6 in my Mageia 6, and tested with RawTherapee 5.3 (rawtherapee-5.3-1.mga6.src.rpm): - My camera: Panasonic DMC-TZ100 is present, OK Note: This is a compact camera, with lens 25-150mm furnished by Leica, you find those in Leica: "Leica DMC-TZ100 & compatibles" I well found camera and lenses files, and so I tried them with a RW2 file, and I could see that correction is OK. I tested also the update: /usr/bin/lensfun-update-data and obtained the message: Successfully updated the database in /var/lib/lensfun-updates/version_1. So, for me, those packages works fine. MGA6-32 on Dell Latitude D600 MATE No installation issues As bug 22125 already claimed to have the latest lensfun, I wondered, but this is indeed another step up Tried same command $ rawtherapee-cli -o p.tif -t -c P7212390.ORF RawTherapee, version 5.3, command line Processing: P7212390.ORF and got the same big tiff file, OK for me # lensfun-update-data Reading http://lensfun.sourceforge.net/db/versions.json … Reading http://wilson.bronger.org/lensfun-db/versions.json … Successfully updated the database in /var/lib/lensfun-updates/version_1. Launched rawtherapee with my Nikon Coolpix S2900 connected. I get camera unknown, lens unknown. That's not a real problem for me since this camera only produces jpeg. My old Olympus E500 ORF's are recognized. Good enough for me. CC:
