Hello,
The regional parameters of kmymoney are blocked in English (Date format YYYY/MM/DD and number 1,000.00) and no longer take the KDE regionals settings since Plasma 5.

We want to have (DD/MM/AAAA and 1 000,00) in french format.

A bug report has been opened on kde.org : https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386893

If it can help, the problem has been solved under openSuse 43.2 plasma 5.8. Plasma regionals setting are well taken into account.

Not sure whether I should have assigned this report to you, since you're the kmymoney maintainer.

I decided to assign to KDE team, because "urpmq -i kmymoney" shows KDE is its upstream:

Unfortunately, this is an upstream problem : the KF5 version of kmymoney is late.
According to the links provided, OpenSuse packages both kde4 and kde5 systemsettings to have a GUI that changes this settings. Mageia has packaged only kde5.

A workaround is configure that in a MGA5, then sync the ~/.kde4 directory with the MGA6 or 7 account.

The solution will be to port Kmymoney to KF5, the project is late, I hope this will happen one day as I use it monthly...

Hi, I am packaging Kmymoney 5.0 for Cauldron. But this release is young, so we will not provide it as an update in MGA6.

For now, I have submitted latest stable update 4.8.1.1 version. Feel fre to help us test it : https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22638

As the new kde stack application (17.12.x) has dropped the Qt4/kde4 support I think it would be better to update kmymoney to the Qt5/Kf5 release in mga6 too.

I am not against, as long as it is enough tested. I'd say we need at least another upstream release, and then real users to test as it is a big app.

Ok, I have called... for 4.8.1.1 now, as I will only push Kmymoney 5 when Plasma5.12 will start it's official tests.

Kmymoney 5 will be pushed to MGA6 as KDE4 support was dropped upstream in Plasma 5.12.

Please test the updated packages listed in MGA#22797 .
