(none) I cannot reproduce here. I would need some info from the reporter. I can only say it happenes very rarely. Maybe it's dependent on something. I will try to figure it out. (In reply to comment #13) > I can only say it happenes very rarely. Maybe it's dependent on something. I > will try to figure it out. @ Dan Did you find out where it depends on? Does the whole system freeze or can you still move the mouse and switch to a tty? If yes, please log in there and see (using top) the cpu usage of lxpanel. All I can say, is that I had a freeze of the panel, the running programs today but could still move the mouse and switch to a tty. In my case lxpanel did use 100% CPU, but after killing it the rest of LXDE was working again and I could restart the panel from a terminal. But I'm afraid it won't be able to find this :/ (In reply to comment #15) > Does the whole system freeze or can you still move the mouse and switch to a > tty? right, but i did not try tty, what is that? The ttys are the terminals you can get to using [Ctrl]-[Alt]-[Fx] where 2 <= x <= 6 Oliver This was reported at several distros Arch: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=116144 Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxpanel/+bug/906825 Upstream: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3468295&group_id=180858&atid=894869 A patch was proposed at launchpad and accepted upstream. Added upstream patch. Status:
