Description Arne Spiegelhauer 2017-11-08 13:24:58 CET
Description of problem:
When inserting an audio CD and clicking "Open with File Manager" in Device Notifier, nothing happens

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
fully

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install audiocd-kio (which is apparently not part of a standard Plasma install)
2. insert audio CD
3. wait for Device Notifier pop-up to appear and click "Open with File Manager"

The problem is that the configured action is to start kioclient (should be kioclient5).

The action can be configured under System Settings/Removable Storage, but this has no effect (other than saving the new command line in ~/.local/share/solid_audiocd.desktop), not even after a reboot.

Editing the change into /usr/share/solid/actions/solid_audiocd.desktop fixes the problem

Hi Arne,

Please reopen this bug report if it is still valid for Mageia 7 or 8(cauldron), and change "Version:" in the upper left of this report accordingly.

I'm closing this report as OLD because it was filed against Mageia 6, for which support ended in 2019.

Thanks,
Marja
