I think I know what's the problem. This is not related to Gwenview, but the kioslave or rather Mageia's packaging of it: In order to allow camera:/ to work, you need to install the corresponding kioslave. When removing the kioslave on my side and setting the language to French, I got exactly your error. Not sure how the package is called on Mageia, on openSUSE it is named "kio_kamera". Try installing this and open a bug report over at Mageia to set this package as a (soft or hard) dependency of Gwenview. This way this is not just solved for you, but every Mageia user. Henrik I installed kamera / Kamera ioslave and everything seems OK now. Thank you Henrik. Pierre Confirm the Bug and confirm the installation of Kamera (Kamera ioslave) that resolve the bug. But I remember that an little icon appear on the bottom of the left panel of Dolphin: right now it don't appear. Is it a bug? Sandro kensan
