Assigning to the kernel & drivers maintainers for the ACPI errors. About the drm:i915_gem_init_stolen error, there is an upstream report https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98683 I don't know why it was closed while it was known that the issue still exists for many systems. CC:

marja11 the drm:i915_gem_init_stolen error is gone since recent updates. # cat /var/log/dmesg | grep -Ei error\|exception [ 0.021322] ACPI Error: [\_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.RHUB.HS11] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20170728/dswload-210) [ 0.021327] ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20170728/psobject-252) [ 0.021360] ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, (SSDT:xh_rvp08) while loading table (20170728/tbxfload-228) [ 0.027673] ACPI Error: 1 table load failures, 8 successful (20170728/tbxfload-246) [ 0.293091] acpi PNP0A08:00: _OSC failed (AE_ERROR); disabling ASPM Thanks reporting this, These ACPI reports refer to Firmware bug. Please update your BIOS following your motherboard's or PC manufacturer. Linux kernel has no resource to catch all firmware bugs. When manufacturers will write code more efficiently world will be better. (Sorry for humour). Resolution:
