Description Barry Jackson 2011-07-16 23:21:24 CEST
Description of problem:
Create a new folder view plasmoid from the add widgets menu.
Once it is on the desktop it has no edit tab (which should appear on a vertical side of the plasmoid (with widgets un-locked) on mouseover.
It is impossible to move, re-size, edit, or even remove the plasmoid without this.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always (not re-booted yet)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click KDE desktop and unlock widgets
2. Right click KDE desktop and click add widgets
3. Find folder view plasmoid in selector and drag it onto desktop
4. Close the selector
5. Try to edit the plasmoid - the edit tab does not appear on mouseover.
Comment 1 Barry Jackson 2011-07-17 00:42:20 CEST
After reboot I find it is possible to remove a folder view plasmoid using the context menu, but the edit tab is still not available, so it cannot be moved or re-sized.

Existing folder view plasmoids in a working /home/user folder from mga1 also become uneditable when used in cauldron.

I updated the package details above.

Fixed in upstream git & in KDE 4.7 branch git.
I'm closing it the fixed will be part of the next KDE 4.7 tarball (so probably 4.7.0)
