Description of problem:

USB memory sticks with mageia iso dd'd onto them are not visible in MCC.  The relevant device /dev/sd(x) is not shown.  It is however automounted in /run/media/tony/, and 'mount' in my case shows it as /dev/sdk1.

I think this has been the case for a long time, if somewhat erratic in its appearance. Discussion just now in qa-discuss has had a confirmation (from Len).

Just looking at the memory stick partitioning of this M6 iso with fdisk, I see

This message is a reminder that Mageia 6 is end of life.

Mageia stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Mageia 6. At that time this bug will be closed as OLD (EOL).

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to 
fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later 
Mageia version prior to Mageia 6's end of life.
