I've been trying lately to install Cauldron in vmware, but have not been able to complete the installation due to a lot of dependencies on i586 packages.

Standard installation of Plasma, did not choose Tainted.

Attaching screenshots of the list as I've not been able to get the list into a text file.

Hi Stig,

Thanks for all your effort to take all those screenshots.

The easy way to get traditional installer logs, including the error messages about the dependencies, is to switch to tty2, plug in a USB key/stick and type

     bug

then press Enter. It will put report.bug on the USB key. If the file is too large to attach, then please compress it with xz: 

     xz report.bug 

and attach the resulting report.bug.xz. 

However, don't try to install again, yet... I think drakx-installer-stage2 first needs to be rebuilt for new rpm, urpmi, perl etc. etc. etc.

Is that correct, that it is better to wait for new stage2 before re-trying a cauldron network install?
