geiger.david68210 Imported now on Cauldron: http://svnweb.mageia.org/packages?view=revision&revision=1150791 David, thank you for being so prompt. I just spun up a cauldron vm, install of youtube-DLG went smooth. I attempted a download, my test system doesn't have sound, so can't test that, but the video is definitely downloaded correctly. Good job. This package is also now in mga6 Core/Updates_testing repo! You can test it :) Beautiful, got it installed in a mageia 6 plasma system on bare metal. Has worked as expected so far, both on youtube and Australian ABC iview site. Will report back in a few weeks. In bug #21683, comment #0 wilcal said: > Description of problem: > > youtube-dl_gui and its associated files seem to be stuck > in updates testing. It looks to install and work just fine. > RPMs installed: > > lib64wxgtkugl3.0_0-3.0.3.1-1.mga6.x86_64 > python2-twodict-1.2-1.mga6.noarch > wxPython-3.0.2.0-8.mga6.x86_64 > wxPython-wxversion-3.0.2.0-8.mga6.x86_64 > youtube-dl-gui-0.4-1.mga6.noarch I'll close that report as duplicate of this one CC:

Backports (I think it shouldn't be in Core/updates_testing but in Core/Backports_testing) I've been using this for weeks now and it works just fine. Appears to be working fine at my end also. Thank you. Assigning to QA, Advisory: ======================== youtube-dl-gui is cross platform front-end GUI of the popular youtube-dl media downloader written in wxPython. This package was not yet provided on ours Mageia repos so now it can be introduced as an update for Mageia 6. ======================== Packages in 6/core/updates_testing: ======================== youtube-dl-gui-0.4-1.mga6.noarch.rpm Source RPM: ======================== youtube-dl-gui-0.4-1.mga6.src.rpm Source RPM:

lewyssmith (In reply to Lewis Smith from comment #16) > Can whoever is responsible for this please put it right. > Do QA have to do anything more? Nope, I think QA done is enough.. For maintainer, just submit it to proper media (we dont move anything), it must have matching stuff in svn backports Done!
