Description David Sullivan 2017-08-31 16:07:04 CEST
After update from Mageia 5 with icewm to Mageia 6 I noticed that Icewmwas broken and had no bottom panel. I had to use the plasma desktop because it seemd that is was working alright. I noticed that the xscreensaver service wasn't running and had to activate it manually at boot.

Did you select icewm-session or icewm when logging in?

icewm-session is what you need, see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_6_Release_Notes#IceWM

That's a different issue, right? Please don't mix issues in one report.
