Description Stephen Pettin 2017-08-26 17:55:51 CEST
Description of problem:
I just recently installed IceWM and it works & runs good. This is the first time I tried it.

There are a few issues I can't seem to fix, the clock & cpu monitor are not showing in the taskbar (bottom right corner). I have uncommented the lines in the Preference file, I have logout & in, but no changes. It add apps in the tray, such as the network app, volume control, etc or if I open apps such as hexchat, it will include it in the right corner. I copied over the config files from /usr/share/icewm to my home directory after installing icewm.

I also installed IceWM on Voidlinux and do not have this issue. This is on real hardware not a virtual machine.

Silly me. I had the IceWM-light version instead of the default version. The light version doesn't have the clock, cpu, etc included. Thanks to wally_ from the Mageia IRC channel. Problem solved!

Tbh, having both "IceWM" and "IceWM-session" now, confused me, too, the first time I saw it. I don't think that's silly :-)

However, it's not a bug, since it is a new "feature" from upstream
