Description of problem:
When booting up LUKS ask for a password, in this dialog backspace generate a character (new dot shows up) instead of deleting one. 
On fedora backspace works fine at LUKS password dialog.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot LUKS encrypted hdd
2. type password, make a typo, try to delete it with backspace
3. backspace generates a character and the password will be wrong

This doesn't only happen when trying to boot a LUKS encrypted disk, but also when trying to log in in a VT (you can test this by switching to tty3 and logging in there with a typo in your password that you correct before hitting enter: it won't work... the only difference is that you can't see how many characters you typed).
