drakx-net-applet @ Salim, Sorry for responding so late. When I right click on the net applet, choose settings and then watched interface, I can (on my system) choose between eth0 and wlan0. When I choose wlan0, the applet changes into 1/8th of a "wheel with green circles", when I choose eth0 it changes into a globe with a little green v-sign in it. That's correct, both interfaces work. When one of them is down, I see the globe with a little red cross. I think the feature you needed, is this one: When I go to active interfaces, I can choose to enable or disable eth0 or wlan0. I think this is what you were looking for. It works well. Closing this bug report Status:
