mageiatools Hi, Exhuming this proposal from ashes, I would like to update it with some thoughts. Sometimes Mageia systems are installed offline with Classic ISO media. So need to configure online repos is less mandatory. Packages are installed from Install Media. Sometimes, Network is possible. When user is queried to add media, Installer should be more intelligent and should propose going online to add online repos. Advantage: it immediately applies updates on packages. Current openSUSE behaviour is to go online at installation time and apply updated packages from online version. Changed Mageia version to Cauldron. Priority:
