During web based installation the package checks for various write permissions under /usr/share/cacti and fails to find them. The installer suggests chown -R apache:apache for various directories but seemed to need a few.

After chown -R /usr/share/cacti/ it still complains of being unable to write it;s log file but does complete installation.

We can't assign to bugs to QA for the same update.  This update is in Bug 21565.  The fix for this bug may not be correct though now that I think about it.  It shouldn't be writing to /usr/share/cacti.  Why is it trying to do that?  Maybe something needs to be pointing to /var/www/cacti or /etc/cacti or something.

This message is a reminder that Mageia 6 is end of life.

Mageia stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Mageia 6. At that time this bug will be closed as OLD (EOL).
