Description of problem:
if you want to print a page with firefox (or an email with thunderbird): click on files > print (or type Ctrl + P on the keyboard) a window then opens on which you can select a printer (if several) and the setups (6 tabs: general, page formatting, options, tasks, image quality, color), and then click on the "print" button: nothing happens.
for exmple, I wish to print the present page (bugzilla-enter a bug), the result is:

Officejet_Pro_8000_A809 is ready

but the printer doesn't print
this very useful feature works very well with mageia5

this bug is perhaps related to bug #21381

with mageia5 it's even possible to print pages directly from the browser Opera which is not part of mageia; this shows that the problem doesn't come from thunderbird or firefox but once more from cups

my advise: continue to support mageia5 until everything was OK with mga6 and make mageia a rolling release distrib

If you can't print because of bug #21381, you won't magically be able to print from TB or FF :-(
