marja11 No output, simply the terminal seems to freeze. I try with "ps" command to see live processes but I didn't find "gnubg". Hi, just for information: under Mageia 5 (x_64) it was all ok. Looks like some dependency changed and it ends up in a loop at startup. The new point release works, so I'll push that into testing. Status:

ASSIGNED gnubg-1.05.002-1.mga6 is available in mga6 core/updates_testing. Suggested announcement: gnubg was upgraded to fix a hang at program startup. Shorter is better, non? CC:

MGA6-32-OK Testing M6/64 BEFORE update: gnubg-1.05.000-3.mga6 Starting the program from the menu went nowhere; but left a process: $ ps -ax | grep gnubg 13346 ? R 0:19 gnubg --window-system-only to kill. From the command line, it hung. $ gnubg ^C $ ps -ax | grep gnubg [no residual process] AFTER update: gnubg-1.05.002-1.mga6 From the menu, the program starts fine. Same from the console. Good update. @Dan I have invented an advisory from comment 5 and the update RPM link; please in the future list the SRPM(s) along with the package name(s). Keywords:
