Description of problem: Setting kwallet password also changes user password. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kwallet-5.32.0-1.mga6.src.rpm How reproducible: (On a 64-bit Plasma install from the Mageia-6 Classic .iso, and wishing to stop kwallet requesting entry of POP3 p/w (when using Kmail)): Steps to Reproduce: 1. In System Settings/Account Details/KDE Wallet/User Manager, in the 'password' window on the right, press the Space key once (also when confirming), and enter Root password when requested, and Apply. 2. Note that when doing 'Checkmail' in Kmail, the POP3 p/w is no longer requested (i.e. success) 3. BUT now - whenever the user p/w is entered, it will be rejected! However, if instead of the genuine p/w the Space key is pressed once, that is now accepted as the user password. QED 4. To restore normal p/w, use MCC/System/Users option. N.B. If done, kwallet will still no longer require POP3 p/w... N.B. The same result has been observed on a 32-bit install of the Mageia-6-LiveDVD.XFCE .iso on a netbook.
