Thanks for your report. Can you try whether this works better in another desktop environment than XFCE? Does it work better in XFCE if you start this MCC tool, rpmdrake, by typing "rpmdrake" in a terminal? Which theme do you use? You can see that by starting "drakbug" in a terminal. The drakbug screen will tell you, but please exit drakbug then (instead of filing another bug report ;-) ) http://doc.mageia.org/mcc/6/en/content/drakbug.html Please _attach_ lspci.txt that is the result of running, in a terminal: lspcidrake -v > lspci.txt and do also attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf and, after you saw this bug again, journal.txt that is the result of running, as root: journalctl -ab > journal.txt Thanks. Assigning to the mageiatools maintainers and CC'ing the XFCE maintainer. Keywords:

NEEDINFO Just curious, was this install done with saved or a formatted /home? The reason I ask is that xfce-4.1.2 is the 1st to be fully ported to GTK+3 and there could be the chance that retained settings in ~./config or ~./local could cause visual distortions, not seen before, to manifest. CC:

cae re #2: Good idea, but no, /home was within the previously unused partition. re #1 Thanks for prompt response. I'm chasing up a possible hardware issue with this system, so will delay momentarily while this progresses. Haven't seen this recently, not in M7beta3. Mark as resolved Tony Resolution:
