after latest updates, Mageia Control Centre won't download updated lists for software updates That's not a bug, it's normal on Cauldron. When Cauldron officially becomes Mageia 6, as it happened a few days ago, the Release repos are no longer used by MageiaUpdates since they are meant to be frozen. Since some packages did effectively get pushed to Core Release *after* making Cauldron officially Mageia 6, you need to update with urpmi --auto-update to fetch the last packages in the Release repos. MageiaUpdate will get the packages in the Updates repos as soon as there are any. Resolution:
