Description of problem:

I tried to change my password in the Mageia forums without success. Normally I use autologin, but I verified my old password.

When I enter my old password under Edit Account Settings, I always get the message: The current password you entered is incorrect.

There is a post in the German forums, where it is stated that new accounts are impossible, too.

The forum should redirect to identity.mageia.org, which it seems after the PHP update does not anymore, as the theme has been updated.

Actually the link on the login page to https://forums.mageia.org/de/ucp.php?mode=sendpassword should be https://identity.mageia.org/forgot_password .

I've replaced this again in login_body.html with the correct links, should be fine again now.

@maat/tmb: Not sure if the template is also being pulled from our git, shall I commit my change to http://gitweb.mageia.org/web/forums/tree/phpBB/styles/prosilver/template/login_body.html#n26 ?

Meanwhile I could change my password through the Mageia identity management. Though I find it somehow awkward to go through a workflow "Forgot my Password', when you actually remember the correct password.

Reassigning to sysadmins because I still don't know whether the template files are updated by puppet from git or if any manual interaction by sysadmins is required currently. As it seems from the comments from bug 21035 this is also unclear to maat.

Bumping severity as this is still not fixed, same as for bug 21035.

Hi,
This is High priority bug for a good reason.

Making Mageia even better than ever is best direction.
In order to do right thing, this bug should be examined and fixed as soon as possible.

Packagers, please make the status to Assigned when you are working on this.
Feel free to reassign the bug if bad-triaged. Also, if bug is old, please close it.

On October 1st 2020, we will drop priority to normal.
