Description James Kerr 2017-06-25 10:37:57 CEST
Use drakwizard-proftpd to set up the server and select for intranet access only.

The server is set up with only localhost access enabled

The stanza added to /etc/proftpd.conf by drakwizard includes the line:

Allow from 127.0.0.1

This line should include the address of the local subnet, for example in my case it should read:

Allow from 192.168.0. 127.0.0.1

This bug also is present on a new install of mga5, but I'm not sure if it existed in the original release of mga5 or was introduced later. I may have copied /etc/proftpd.conf from my mga4 system when setting up proftpd originally on mga5.
