Assigning to the putty maintainer, who'll understand the attached backtrace better than I do :-) Source RPM:

putty Some updates: 1. I am able to reproduce the crash on my mageia v6 x86-64 system. 2. The crash does not happen with a putty built from source without patches and while using version 3.0 of gtk+ and ./configure. And it also supports RSA auth which the mageia putty does not. If converting to use it will fix this and other problems, then I am keen to go with it. Shlomi, your proposed fix sounds reasonable. Nice work. (In reply to David Walser from comment #3) > Shlomi, your proposed fix sounds reasonable. Nice work. Thanks! I'll do it then. Hi, With putty-0.69-2.mga6, I have no more crash. Thank you very much, Nico. (In reply to Nicolas Salguero from comment #5) > Hi, > > With putty-0.69-2.mga6, I have no more crash. > > Thank you very much, > > Nico. Thanks! Resolving as FIXED. Created attachment 9437 [details] GDB trace of putty segmentation fault Hi, In Mageia 6, I found that putty always crashes when I try to use the mouse wheel to scroll. It does not crash if I use the scroll bar with the mouse. I did not get that problem in Mageia 5. I attached the gdb trace I got. Best regards, Nico.
