and also attach log.txt that is the result of running, as root:

Ah, you got hit by an upstream patch that stated older api firmwares should not be supported on 4.9 series (fixing a commit that landed in 4.9-rc1+), but apparently in your case you still need older api firmwares... I will fix it tomorrow when I build a 4.9.32 based kernel CC:
