Description of problem:

The bottom line in the GUI say ... <Alt-F4> for kernel msg

But nothing happens when i press Alt-F4
(Alt-{F1,F2,F3} works)

Network install, nonfree i586 fetched today

Humm, it's a side effect to the switch to systemd + dracut

yeah, one also need to remove silent and add some loglevel commands to kernel command line today to get some console output from kernel

Still valid network install, nonfree x86_64 and i586 fetched last hour.

Alt-F4 do absolutely nothing; whatever is shown before, screen do not update at all.

I found no method to edit kernel command line...?

I read https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v5.7/admin-guide/kernel-parameters.html
I intended to remove "silent" and add "loglevel=6"

"some loglevel commands" (plural) - what other options do you suggest?
