Syslog of kernel fault on power removal of USB HDD

Description of problem:
When I unmount a USB hard drive, formatted to FAT32, the system appears to unmount it without a problem. But as soon as I switch it's power supply off, the following error is generated by the Kernel..

[See text file attached]

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Kernel 2.6.28.7-desktop-1.mga

How reproducible:
Unmount a USB hard drive, then remove it's power.

Moved from security, put it in wrong category.

Component: Security => RPM Packages

Comment 2 Samuel Verschelde 2011-10-01 16:32:57 CEST
Does it still happen with latest kernel updates?

Assigning to kernel maintainer.

This bug has gone away in the later versions of the Kernel, so am closing the bug report.
