Description of problem:

QT4 designer crashs when starting with segmentation fault

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

qt4-4.8.6-9.mga5.src.rpm

How reproducible:

1. enter in bash $ designer
2. result: Speicherzugriffsfehler (that means segmentation fault)

QT5 designer works as well as QT Creator.

Hi Hans,

This bug was filed against Mageia 5. Did it get fixed? If so, please change its status to RESOLVED - FIXED.

If it didn't, then we regret that we weren't able to fix it in Mageia 5. Mageia 5 has officially reached its End of Life on December 31st, 2017 https://blog.mageia.org/en/2017/11/07/mageia-5-eol-postponed/
It continued to get limited extended support since then, but that support has now ended, too.
As a result we are closing this bug report as OLD.

(I don't expect this bug to exist in Mageia 6, because qt4 was largely replaced with qt5).

Hi Marja,

it's ok for me to close this bug report as OLD.

On Mageia 6 with qt5 everything is working fine.
