Thanks for the report. Hopefully fixed in 1.8.1-6.
Comment 3 David Walser 2017-05-29 02:55:17 CEST
Not at all. As Comment 0 said, Cauldron has libproj9, not libproj0 as Mageia 5 has. Hard-coding a library Requires definitely seems wrong though. Is qlandkartegt dlopen()'ing this library? If it's not, the dep should be autogenerated or something else is wrong. If it is, then the dep will need to be hard-coded, but hopefully you can use a virtual provides for that, rather than having to hard-code the library major in the Requires.

Chris, are you sure that's the right fix?

Me? no :)
I was just blindly fixing the missing dep generated by requiring libproj0 instead of libproj9!

But I can have a look!
Comment 6 Chris Denice 2017-05-30 18:00:32 CEST
Done, missing dep to proj-devel, I'll push a fix after actually testing it.

1.8.1-8 landing, with the fix. Tested, works for me.

I did not know the app, it is actually very nice!

Cheers.

PS: reopen if this does not work.
