Steps to Reproduce:

In dnfdragora top left menu pulldown "Archive" select "update metadata"

What happens: it do not update metadata (do not download anything it seems)

WORKAROUND: at command line run
# dnf check-update --refresh 

( 
i could not find a dnf command to ONLY refresh metadata 
- do not dnf have such command ?!
  )

And then run dnfdragora

yes that is a dnfdaemon problem that unfortunately does nothing when a refresh request is asked.

BTW a minor spelling error in message, during end of starting dnfdragora:

<_M_> [mga-qt-ui] YMGA_QCBTable.cc:74 YMGA_QCBTable():  Slection mode 2

"Slection" should be "Selection"

To update only metadata via CLI, use "dnf makecache" (tip from David Walser!)

This should be fixed now in dnfdragora 2.X
