Forget to comment the suffix is just .mga6 In Mga6 your ~.rpmmacros you would need to use
%dist bdk.mga%{distro_release}
On my system I just use:
%dist zae%{distro_release}
charles@SuperSize ~]$ rpm --eval %dist
zae6

It works, but what have changed ? before 6 i just define %distsuffix bdk.mga and works. Closed as solved anyway Resolution:

The macros and their values sometimes change with version upgrades in rpm. This is the case with the rpm in Mga5 and rpm-4.13.0.1 in Mga6. %distsuffix was replaced with %dist. A full listing of the macros can be found in /usr/lib/rpm/ |
