6RC It would be nice to get the full installer logs of those failures. Please reproduce the issue, switch to tty2 when you see it, attach a usb key and type "bug" Then attach report.bug that was written to the USB key to this bug report, after first compressing it with xz. Keywords:

NEEDINFO (In reply to Marja van Waes from comment #2) > It would be nice to get the full installer logs of those failures.... I agree. For the record here this little Dell Vostro 1015 laptop has always been a problemistic Mageia install from the day I bought it. I always have to try various media ( CI, Netinstall, Live DVD ) ect ect to finally get a successful install. This time the netinstall work perfectly. Once I get a successful install on it I try not to fix something that's not broken. So far M6 on this thing is working wonderfully well. Lets see if others have similar problems when the RC gets released. So far I've only seen this with this laptop and no where else. I have to perform major surgery on this thing to get the working hd out and a test victum hd in. No problem, I'll set this bug report to unconfirmed, then. It can be set to "NEW" again and assigned when someone reproduces it. Status:
NEW =>
UNCONFIRMED Closing as OLD, because no one reproduced this issue and because the lack of logs makes it imppossible to investigate it. @ Anyone hitting this issue: Please get the installer logs, as explained here: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Triage_guide#Traditional_installer and change the status of this bug report to REOPENED after attaching those logs to this report.
