Confirmed that arteTV could not be loaded and updated.

arteTV now visible although there are a lot of null pixmaps (might be a temporary thing).  Selected a programme, set the properties to 1280x720, French subtitles and downloaded at 15.9 MB/sec.  Lots of error messages in the terminal referring to various images which cannot be found on the web.  Programme summaries display fine.  Don't know anything about arte Live Web but it looked like it was working.

Saved video of Monteverdi concert to Videos and played it in vlc.  Sound perfectly rendered and the subtitles came up fine.

i586 virtualbox

Not working for 32-bits either.
Installed the update and found arte.tv without a problem.  Programme summaries displayed.  Selected a film and set the download properties, French subtitles.  The video came down at about 18 MB/sec and the file was saved to Videos with spaces in the filename replaced with underscores as requested.  Sound, vision and subtitles all good.
