tmb I will try to sort this out this weekend. Does this mean i should completely stop working on wiki.mageia.org/de/ and use wiki.mageia.org/en/*sitename*-de like written in https://wiki.mageia.org/en/How_to_write_a_wiki_page#How_to_translate_a_page ? The German wiki is readable, but it still looks horrible. The French wiki was out-of-use because accidentally created. It would be nice if we could get multi-language support for those and new localized wikis working :-) CC:

German and France Wiki looks bad / broken Wiki-Design-Template The developer tools of my browser show a 404 error, for example for the following URL (stylesheet): https://wiki.mageia.org/mw-de/load.php?debug=false&lang=de&modules=mediawiki.legacy.commonPrint%2Cshared%7Cmediawiki.sectionAnchor%7Cmediawiki.skinning.interface%7Cskins.vector.styles&only=styles&skin=vector When using the english wiki, the following URL (with the stylesheet) is loaded successfully (code 200): https://wiki.mageia.org/mw-en/load.php?debug=false&lang=en&modules=mediawiki.legacy.commonPrint%2Cshared%7Cmediawiki.sectionAnchor%7Cmediawiki.skinning.interface%7Cskins.vector.styles&only=styles&skin=vector Does anyone know a solution or what happend that might cause the issue? Was there an update of the mediawiki installation? Or did someone modify the skins/templates? Are there error messages in the logs of mediawiki or apache which are related to the issue? CC:

nic I tried to set up a local wiki instance in order to analyze the problem and try out possible solutions. Unfortunately, I'm unable to reproduce the bug locally. This is my local setup: - Apache 2.4.27 (Mageia 6) - PHP/5.6.38 - MediaWiki 1.27.5 - MLEB (MediaWiki Language Extension Bundle) 2017.07 - Skins from http://gitweb.mageia.org/web/templates/mediawiki/ Which language-/i18n-extension (and which version) is used by the Mageia wiki? Is there some documentation about the installation and configuration of the Mageia wiki (or can someone tell me)? There is also another error, perhaps more explicit. https://wiki.mageia.org/de/Resources/assets/poweredby_mediawiki_176x62.png is also in error 404 (not found) Either the "de" content is missing, a link is missing, or it should not be searched here.
