hplip I agree the menu entry appears to do nothing, but I don't agree that there is a missing package. Running 'hp-sendfax' from a terminal results in HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.16.11) PC Sendfax Utility ver. 9.0 Copyright (c) 2001-15 HP Development Company, LP This software comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. This is free software, and you are welcome to distribute it under certain conditions. See COPYING file for more details. error: No device found that support this feature. It would be nice if it gave you a visible message when you started it from the menu entry, but sadly it doesn't. CC:

mageia What a difference a '-' makes! hp-sendfax, not hpsendfax. Accepting Martin's explanation, and that you would normally try this thing without having FAX configured, I am closing this. Resolution:
