Steps to Reproduce:
See attached screen shots
1. Enter command containing underscores (not visible)
2. Enter return (underscores become visible)
3. Recall command (underscores in recalled command and previous line invisible)
4. Resize Konsole (underscores becomes visible
5. Delete text (underscores are not erased)

Guessing not a Plasma problem. Going to guess xserver.

Running a Xfce DE and noticed changing the font size in the geany editor caused the underscore to disappear. Solution was to find a desired font that does not have the problem for the desired size. Example I usually run size 14 but change to 12 for long lines and the underscore disappeared. Found that the Liberation Mono font has the underscore for either size.
