gksu-polkit is hosted on Debian git with a last commit in 2010. It's not hosted on git.gnome.org so I'm not planning to do anything here. Someone made a wiki page on GNOME, but it's been moved to 'Attic' which is a clear indicator that it's deprecated.

CC'ing their maintainers, as far as they're not called nobody, and reassigning to all packagers collectively.

Maybe gksu-polkit can be replaced in cinnamon, mate etc. by a better maintained tool?

Seems like the ext pack is built by root. I see no other explanation since you have to use VBoxManage as root to install it or at least sudo rights.
