Description Phil Terry 2017-03-10 05:25:47 CET
Created attachment 9062 [details]
dialog displayed on logging in

The attached is displayed on logging in to my old home directory. mga5 to mga6 install from DVD/USB formatting everything else.

kwallets don't work, gpg2 import of keys crashes, (old walllet was gpg encrypted).

So now apps can't save passwords nor find old ones.

I created a new user. On logging in it asked me to create a wallet, I chose the GPG option instead of blowfish, it prompted me to create a new key etc, which I did, then at the end the same crash when finally trying to open (decrypt) the wallet kgpg crashes. Wallets don't work, all apps using wallet no longer work with passwords, etc.

Seems there's something wrong between the mga6 sta2 kgpg and gpg2 apps...

I've submitted a build for gpgme-1.8.0-9.mga6 to try to fix this by making it consistently use gpg2. My theory is that gpgme has been incorrectly attempting to use gpg1 and gpg2 in parallel, which breaks things all over the place.
