Alignment bug on Mageia Bugzilla

There are some alignment problems in web content, I cannot really explain but I give you two examples as attachment. The first one is from the Mageia Bugzilla, the second one from here: http://www.clarinette.net/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=21&p=133027#p133027

I get these problems with either Firefox or Qupzilla, and either Plasma or IceWM. It works fine on other distributions I use.

I've never seen such problems. I use Mageia's Bugzilla daily, usually with Firefox and Plasma5 or XFCE, but there's never an alignment problem. I don't see the problem on the clarinette.net forum, either.

@ LpSolit

Do you have a clue what might cause Aurélien's alignment problem?

@ Aurélien

What is the output of

    lspcidrake -v | grep Card
Comment 4 Aurélien Murith 2017-03-09 17:09:24 CET
Card:ATI Radeon HD 4870 and earlier: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI]|RV730/M96 [Mobility Radeon HD 4650/5165] [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:1002 device:9480 subv:1179 subd:ff50)

The last time I heard something about this problem was 10 years ago. I honestly don't have any idea why Aurélien would be affected by this problem now. It would be interesting to download and install Firefox 52.0 directly from the mozilla.org website, for comparison with the packaged one.

Can you please also attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf ?

I do have upstream Firefox 52.0. No difference.

Hi.

I've the same issue. Using Mozilla Developer Edition 54, 64bit. Checked the clarinette.net site.

lspcidrake -v | grep Card
Card:NVIDIA GeForce 8100 to GeForce 415: NVIDIA Corporation|GT218M [NVS 3100M] [DISPLAY_VGA] (vendor:10de device:0a6c subv:1028 subd:040b) (rev: a2)

Just a small update on this.

I've just checked with Firefox 55.0a1, Vivaldi and Opera (Stable and Developer) and they all show the same alignment issue on
http://www.clarinette.net/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=21&p=133027

Thanks for your time.

$ lspcidrake -v | grep Card
