Description of problem:
Most obvious with Dolphin, but I suspect also other KDE applications, icons are conspicuously missing when run under desktops other than Plasma. Sometimes there are some icons, which look as if they may be desktop default substitutes. Difficult to judge.
I do not know whether this is down to the KDE applications or desktops.

How reproducible:
Just launch Dolphin from non-Plasma desktops.
