attachment The screen : http://troumad.org/OOo/bug_PC_MC.png (too big for add it with the bugzilla) Created attachment 9036 [details] Bernard's screenshot (In reply to Bernard SIAUD from comment #1) > attachment > The screen : http://troumad.org/OOo/bug_PC_MC.png (too big for add it with > the bugzilla) Hi Bernard, Thanks for your report. I've shrunk your screenshot and will attach it now. Please use a Live DVD in live mode to mount the root partition of the install that fails to boot. There's a directory with a very long hexadecimal name in /that/partition's/var/log/journal/ please run, as root, journalctl -D /path/into/that/hexadecimal/directory/ > journal.txt and then attach journal.txt to this bug report. (compress the journal with xz if it's too large to attach) And also attach /root/drakx/report.bug.xz from the root partition of that install. CC:

mageiatools I don't need the Live DVD : This computer run with mind 18. I can run a chroot if you need. The file is here : http://troumad.org/OOo/journal.txt (In reply to Bernard SIAUD from comment #3) > I don't need the Live DVD : This computer run with mind 18. I can run a > chroot if you need. > The file is here : http://troumad.org/OOo/journal.txt At first sight, there are _26_ Kernel Call Traces, 10 of them preceded with "kernel: irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)" Can you try to boot that system again, after adding " irqpoll" (without the "") to the kernel options in grub? CC'ing the kernel and driver maintainers. @ kernel maintainers Please reassign to yourself if it's really for you :-) CC:

kernel http://troumad.org/OOo/journal1.txt after the first mode http://troumad.org/OOo/journal2.txt after the recovery mode I have do 'e' in the line "mageia" in the grub. Il have placed "irqpoll" before resume. It's good ? Not good. I have photograph the screen. After, I try with recovery mode. Without option I can have a command shell after a long wait. But, in this shell, I don't have network. Now, I can have a shell after a long wait. But I have errors that appear on the screen. I have photograph the screen. I do "reboot". I can't reboot. I have photograph the screen. Do you want the 3 photography ? There is a new bios and ec firmware for that system. Please update those and try again... Assignee:

kernel It's hard to find how-to install the BIOS... Nothing in French in fr.msi.com. It's good for the headache. Not good...http://troumad.org/OOo/journal3.txt I have just 7 lines in less error when booting. the line with the irq 16, handlers, pcieport. Should I reinstall mga6 sta2 with this new bios ? I have update the bios. I have try with the xfce live. It's not good. normal : http://troumad.org/OOo/normal.png with the 2st boot option http://troumad.org/OOo/irqpoll.png After irqpoll, if I any key I have a prompt for login, but I can't login. If I do irqpoll + the 2st option of boot I can login with root (no passwd). I can have a dm with vesa. But, it's only for install mga6. I have network. Now I can boot with the (recovery mode) and without X11. This computer have a "GeForce 900M Series notebook", it's need bumblebee. Mint use the nvidia driver. Mageia use intel. I install x11-driver-video-nvidia-current, bumblebee, bumblebee-nvidia, libvirtualgl libturbojpeg0 libprimus ( https://www.mageialinux-online.org/wiki/installer-bumblebee-pour-les-cartes-optimus ). But I can select "nvidia-361" : Mint use nvidia-361. If I do "systemctl restart dm", the computer is blocked. If you have an optimus laptop, you should configure the Intel card in XFdrake. Usually the Nvidia GPU is not connected to the monitor so you can't use the nvidia-current driver directly, you'll have to use bumblebee for that. I don't know if this computer have optimus. I have do a update. I think thqt drakx11 was different. I have choose driver intel, disable bumblebee and now it's work. Say me if you wa,'t that I try a naw DVD or live DVD with this computer.
