Why Mageia App Db is more useful to find a app than drakrpm ? Created attachment 9005 [details]
Arch column
Arch column could be move in setting.
Or a way to hide other Arch result.
In deed for a noob make a choice between to Arch result, it's not easy.
More Globally i think the user interface could be improved =)
You can let drakrpm search in the descriptions, too, by clicking on the search icon ("3" in this screen http://doc.mageia.org/mcc/5/en/content/images/rpmdrake1.png ) and selecting to search the string you enter in the complete descriptions of the packages, or (less time consuming) just in the summaries, instead of only in the package names.
About the arch: if you install manatools (a libyui port of mcc, which is still work in progress), you can use rpmdragora. I think the Mga5 version of it already allows to select to only show 64bit and noarch packages. That certainly works in Cauldron.
There is probably an existing enhancement request to make this possible in rpmdrake, too, but I don't currently find it.CC:
