With the last updates, redshift has a bug on gnome.
On xfce, everything it's ok. 

"Unable to start GeoClue client: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied: Geolocation disabled for UID 1000.
Unable to connect to GeoClue."

Do you have location services enabled in GNOME?
