nouveau cannot be unloaded due to it being used...

XFdrake sets nvidia (as requested)

/etc/init.d/dm restart fails, nvidia module can't load, due to nouveau being loaded...

That's a known issue, you have to reboot.

is this something that can be fixed? looking at the link at mandriva, it seems like nouveau has to fix their driver so it can unload perfectly fine?

Looking at the mdv bug linked above, XFdrake should ask the user to reboot not just log out -> log in; IIUC.

personally, i would rather it didn't, but i guess it's dependant on the drm drivers... /me sighs
