Description Davy Defaud 2017-02-14 23:30:02 CET
Description of problem:
When upgrading from an older Mageia version to Mageia 6, the deprecated halt user is not removed by the setup package.

I noticed that when running pwck. It is complaining about the halt user âshellâ which is /sbin/halt that is now provided by systemd as /usr/bin/halt:

# LANG=C pwck
user 'halt': program '/sbin/halt' does not exist

Setup package should check and remove the halt user when upgrading, because it doesnât create it on a fresh install.
