Description of problem:


For a while, with Mageia 6 cauldron 64 kde,
When I click stop, the system disconnects, and stops, the screen turns off, but my turn is not off (I hear the ventillos and dikes turn)
Then after a few seconds BEEP and this restarts.

I reinstalled Mageia cauldron with an up-to-date image of the beginning of January but it has not changed anything.

Lorsque le systÃ¨me s'arrÃªte, il redémarre toujours.


Depuis un bon moment, avec Mageia 6 cauldron 64 kde,
Quand je clique sur arrÃªt, le systÃ¨me se déconnecte, et s'arrÃªte, l'écran s'éteind, mais ma tour n'est pas hors tension (j'entend les ventillos et les diques tournent)
Puis au bout de quelques secondes BIP et celÃ  redémarre.

J'ai réinstallé Mageia cauldron avec une image Ã  jour de début janvier mais celÃ  n'a rien changé.

why is it a KDE issue ? i think more a kernel issue.

I don't have the slightest idea :-Ã¾

Should it be visible in the logs anywhere that the poweroff button was pressed?

Do you have the new black/white buttons, too, now?
Can you attach a screenshot of the one you pressed?


(Already reassigning to the kernel maintainers, anyway, because no one reported that the new buttons are confusing.)

Since no one else reports this issue, it might depend on your hardware.

Since yesterday, the bug is resolved
My computer turns off normally

I clicked on "turn off"
I still attach the file lspci.txt

It is probably the updates that resulted the problem

Je cliquais bien sur "éteindre"
