Description of problem: 6_s2: 

package group checkbox selection is intermittent.
Occasionally quickly going through and clicking the box or line results in no check mark in checkbox even though bottom of screen status numbers change.

I had three checkbox failures in Workstation.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. clean install Mageia-6-sta2-x86_64-DVD.iso Jan 11 03:04
2. pick Custom
   http://doc.mageia.org/installer/5/en/content/chooseDesktop.html
2. quickly go through checking all boxes in Workstation and Server package groups.
   http://doc.mageia.org/installer/5/en/content/choosePackageGroups.html
3. If a check does not show up in a clicked box, 
   continue to click it and note bottom of screen status numbers change

Even though the status changes that package group will not be installed.

Workaround: 
Click the Previous button for
http://doc.mageia.org/installer/5/en/content/chooseDesktop.html
Select Custom and go back through package group selection again.
Place mouse in empty checkbox, wait for pop up, then click to select.

I have seen the same thing. In my experience it hasn't been intermittent though. Copying my comments from 21352 in case the detail is helpful.

Description of problem:
When doing a fresh mga6 installation I clicked custom install and was unable to check some of the boxes afterward. I know that the development category was one of them but there were others that didn't work either. I did see the installation size change on the screen but when I checked select individual packages little was pre-selected under development. I've seen this twice. Once using the nonfree netboot.iso on a laptop and earlier today the classic installer dvd on an Acer desktop with 19" widescreen monitor. I had asked QA about this on IRC before 6 was released but nobody had seen it at the time. I've now seen it twice and it looks like I can duplicate it at will.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the installer
2. Pick custom instead of plasma or gnome
3. Open Server pulldown - unable to put a check on Network Computer server
4. Open Desktop pulldown - unable to put a check on development but then found I *was* able to go back and put a check on Network Computer server
5. Checked individual package selection
6. Found very few packages (maybe a dozen) checked under development
7. Went back to previous menu to find I could now check development and proceeded to find most of the development packages were now checked
