olav I installed it and I could add the setting, so it seems it was indeed the problem. Is it possible to get networkmanager-applet added as a dependency for the relevant packages to people having to remember and know that this is the solution? Thanks, I'll add the dependency. I wasn't sure if this would solve it. It was a little bit more difficult and asked on gnome@ml.mageia.org. Didn't get a response so just added a dependency. Status:
